VW New Beetle Convertible has experienced its North American premiere at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, the Europeans have already had a chance to see a New Beetle.
The old Beetle hadn't very good sales results, so Volkswagen has decided to make a new version more mature. VW New Beetle Convertible is available in base with a 170HP engine (2.5-liter five-cylinder gasoline) and with a six-speed automatic, diesel accounted with 140hp (2.0-liter turbo diesel) and with a six-speed manual or six-speed DSG dual -clutch transmission. On the top is a 200hp (2.0-liter Turbocharged gasoline) with a six-speed stick shift or a DGS also with a six gears. Prices are $ 24.995 for the 2.5L model and rise to $ 32.395 for the 2.0 TSI.
